Focus Group about Inclusive Education

During the summer period, in July (2019), ARCIL´s team promoted a focus group session in order to reflect about concepts and practices around Inclusive Education, using the “One School For All” model has starting point for the reflection. 

The session was facilitated by João Canossa Dias, coordinator of the SMILE project’s team at ARCIL, na engaged a group of mainstream teachers, specialized teachers, specialists and one external elemento, with expertise on the topic of Inclusive Education. The “One School For All” model was analysed and its application to the Portuguese context was under discussion.

Training of Trainers in Sofia

Between the 27th and 29th of May 2019, CIE implemented in Sofia a training-the-trainers seminar to raise the capacity of partner teams from Portugal, Romania and Greece to apply and scale up the Model for building an inclusive school environment.

SMILE project starts!

The Project’s activities were launched at the partnership kick-off meeting, held in the facilities of ARCIL, in Lousã, Portugal, on the 19th to 21st of March 2019. During the meeting, partners were introduced by CIE to the Model for Inclusive Learning, the Instruments and Tools for working with schools and the online course.
